About Us

The Croswell-Lexington Alternative Secondary School (C.L.A.S.S.) has a new name: Pioneer High School. This is a unique program with the Croswell-Lexington School District. The program is designed to help students that have had difficulties within a traditional school setting. Pioneer High School provides several education options: in-class, blended, and virtual (dependent on student needs) for a student to achieve a high school diploma.

Our Mission: In order to assist students in reaching their potential and encourage the highest level of educational achievement, we will develop the skills needed to succeed in life and be productive members of society. We will achieve this through the educational efforts of our students, faculty, and community resources.

Our Vision: We, as a staff, are willing to give whatever services are necessary so that our students are successful. We believe each student has the ability to learn. We work hard to solve problems that create barriers to achievement for individual students. We are proud of the progress that we have made in this area, and expect that we will continue to improve performance in this area.
